We were thrilled to celebrate the graduation of our Year 13 students at ELIS Villamartín on Friday, 20th June 2025.

The evening began at 5:30 pm as families, staff, and students gathered in our event space, greeted by music and the warm anticipation of the occasion. At 6:00 pm, our Headteacher, Jon Wayth, officially opened the ceremony with a thoughtful and emotional speech, acknowledging the hard work and resilience of the Class of 2025 and the support of their teachers and families.

Head Prefects Diego and Hudson then took the stage, offering a moving reflection on their time at school and the journey that brought them to this special day. Their words captured the spirit of a group that had grown, overcome challenges, and built lasting memories together.

Certificates were then awarded to each graduate in two parts, with teachers Jose Manuel Rodríguez and Fabian Leonard each calling up the students in turn, celebrating their individual achievements and contributions to school life.

The closing speeches were delivered by Juan Manuel Marco, our Head of Sixth Form, and Catherine Hill, Head of Upper School. They praised the cohort for their maturity, ambition and camaraderie, and reminded them of the values that define an ELIS Villamartín alumnus.

After the formal ceremony, families, students, and staff enjoyed refreshments outdoors, taking the opportunity to reflect, take photos, and enjoy a final moment together before this chapter closes.

This year, 35 students graduated from our Sixth Form, with many now heading to top universities across Spain, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy and further afield.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our Class of 2025. You leave behind a legacy of spirit, kindness and perseverance. Wherever life takes you, remember—you will always have a home at ELIS Villamartín.

Congratulations, Class of 2025!
