National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS) accreditation
On Friday the 25th of October, we received inspectors from the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS) accreditation team. NABSS was set up by a group of leading British Schools in Spain in 1978 and ensures that accredited schools meet the requirements of the British National Curriculum and the British Council (British government). The inspection was in preparation for many months and our teachers and ancillary staff worked hard to ensure the strengths and quality of our school were clearly understood during the inspection.
We very pleased to report that we were granted a continued four-year accreditation, the maximum available under the NABSS inspection framework. Some of the findings highlighted in the feedback were concerning the quality of teaching and learning, which is cited as very good, the quality of moral and spiritual guidance students receive, and how well looked after students feel. Leadership and management was also highlighted as an excellent features.
