We are delighted to share the celebration of our Year 13 graduation ceremony, held last Friday at our school.

The ceremony began at 6:30 pm with a warm welcome from our Headteacher, Jon Wayth, who addressed all attendees with heartfelt words, from the excited graduates to their families and teachers. Without the commitment and effort of all parties, this great moment would not be possible. Following this, the proud graduates Darío and Diana, representing Year 13, gave an emotional recap of their experience at ELIS Villamartín.

Teachers Toñi Legidos and Claire Ryan were responsible for placing the graduation stoles and caps, while handing out the corresponding certificates to the smiling students.

The final remarks were given by the Head of Upper School, Catherine Hill, and our Director Técnico, Juan Manuel Marco, who congratulated the students, expressed their full confidence in their abilities and reminded them of the values they embody as ELIS Alumni.

After the formal ceremony, attendees enjoyed an outdoor cocktail, where fond memories were shared. It was a genuine pleasure to see so many families joining us to celebrate this milestone.

In total, 37 students graduated this academic year 2023-24, half of whom have chosen to continue their studies at public and private universities in Spain, while the other half are heading to destinations such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark, or the United States, among others.

As we bid farewell to our new cohort of graduates, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a bright and successful future. You will always be part of the ELIS family, and we eagerly look forward to hearing about your achievements in the years to come.

Congratulations, Class of 2024!
