Last Thursday, we celebrated our Disability Awareness Day in partnership with Aidemar. This event, dedicated to promoting inclusion and respect for diversity, has made a profound impact on our educational community.

The main objective of this event was to invite and accompany people of all ages to play, reflect, and act in favour of recognizing and respecting diversity in all its forms. Thanks to the collaboration with Aidemar, we were able to offer an informative talk as well as a series of inclusive games and workshops that allowed our students to put themselves in the shoes of people with different abilities.

From Aidemar, whom we greatly appreciate for their collaboration, the importance of inclusion was emphasized, underscoring that everyone deserves the same rights and opportunities, regardless of their abilities. This event was not only a space for reflection but also for action, as it culminated in the donation of ten complete computer setups to this association with multiple locations in our nearby community.

On the other hand, we also want to thank ‘El Paraíso del Cuento‘, by Santillana, whose professionals visited us this morning to share stories and history about disability and inclusion with our Primary students.

This event has been a significant step in our ongoing commitment to inclusion and diversity, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate with organizations like this one to contribute to ensuring that everyone in our society feels valued and respected.
