On 26 September, our students took part in Global Be Well Day, the annual event promoted by Cognita to strengthen the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of the entire school community. This year, the focus was on connection: with ourselves, with others and with our surroundings.

During the day, students enjoyed workshops and activities designed to promote calm, concentration and teamwork, including yoga sessions, gratitude exercises, happiness collages, shared reading and choir singing. We were also joined by Cruz Roja, Fundación Quirón and Payasospital, who ran workshops tailored to each age group.

A new activity was introduced for staff wellbeing, with a mindfulness session integrated into the working day, highlighting the school’s commitment to the entire community.

The day allowed students to experience firsthand how collaboration, empathy and creativity strengthen our community, with these lessons directly linked to the curriculum and fostering an environment of respect and mutual support.

Global Be Well Day was not just a one-off event, but the start of an ongoing process to make wellbeing a central part of learning throughout the school year.
